Voluntary Pets

IMG_6148

Very soon my parents will be here. It will be the first time they have visited in the summer, the last time they were here was 3 1/2 years ago, for Tristan's birth. This time they are coming for Mikal's wedding.

They'll be bringing their dogs with them, but I can't help but wonder how their voluntary pets will fair while they are gone.

Who will feed the birds?

Let's all say a little prayer that they will manage while their caretakers are away, especially this little blind finch.

  5. beautiful photos and birdies ♥

I trust that The Lord will definitely bless them and you. Is that a hummingbird on the tree branch? It has that kind of long beak like one, only I didn't realize that hummingbirds rested on branches like that.

  7. Love those hummingbirds...great shots, as usual.
We were gone for an extended period of time, and the person who was supposed to re-fresh the nectar didn't...so I'm trying very hard to lure my babies back...

Miss hearing from you...please tell me how to join in Macro Monday.

  10. Wonderful photos as usual. Ya gotta love the beautiful hummingbirds. They should probably consider hiring a pet sitting service to fill the bird feeders while they're gone. That way they can really enjoy the wedding without worrying!
