Exciting things happening here over the weekend! I had to share that our eggs are hatching and the House Finch couple are parents to 3 so far. I am working on a longer post of their journey thus far that will be immediately below this one, but I had to take advantage of this neat experience for a Macro Monday. He's still attached to his little egg, maybe an hour hatched.

ReplyDeleteThose are wonderful photos Lisa - we have little hatchlings too but I can't get as close as that to get the photos due to where the nest is. Its wonderful watching them. When I saw the first one hatch I thought it was a little leaf until it moved!

The birds that I´m waiting for are called Talgoxe in swedish. What they are called in english I don´t know ?
I tried to use Google translate but I don´t think it translated right because I really don´t think they are called Great Tits in english *LOL*
