Reflecting

IMG_6621

I was trying to shoot the night view from the 14th floor of our motel last week.  The first shot I took had this reflection of me and our room.  I did retake and get it with the reflection but I find this one way more interesting. :0)

On our way to new Orleans next month we are going to stop for a night at the Myrtles Plantation, supposedly the most haunted home in America!  Wonder if we'll sleep at all.  We also plan on seeing Oak Alley Plantation, you know the one often shown in movies, with all the huge live oaks lining the path to it.  It'll be SO much fun!  What else should we see?  Are you nearby?  Should we see you?

  9. You should go on a swamp tour, that was our favorite thing. Wandering through the French Quarter is a must and take lots of money. There are tons of good things to eat and to buy. I'll try to find the name of the wonderful little restaurant we ate at. And you have to have beignets--at a famous restaurant in the french quarter, but I can't recall the name. My husband and I also took a cooking class. It was great fun. We drove past Emiril Lagasse's restaurant. I wish we had stopped. And do take the St. Charles Street Trolley and stroll through the Garden District. Such lovely homes and trees. Have fun--I loved visiting New Orleans. I have a blog friend that lived many years in New Orleans. She just barely moved. If you're interested in visiting with her let me know.

  10. I like the reflection in the photo ... makes you think about what's going on inside and out. The Myrtle Plantation sounds spooky and fun. You should take a bunch of pictures and see if you get any ghost orbs.
