Montana Mammals

IMG_1739

While in Montana we stopped at the National Bison (Buffalo) Range and saw many animals!  I love the gentle fall colors in these pictures.  Maybe they're especially beautiful since I've been surrounded by white for so long.

  1. Buffalos are mighty animals, we have a couple of farmers with those over here. I like the series of portraits and it's nice to se another color that white around ;-)

  2. You have some nice closeups. Were you walking, driving or in a tour bus? Looks like a good place to explore.

  3. AbFab lisa, what wonderful images. What is the two-tone bit on the back of the one buffalo?
Looks like a fluffy saddle somehow.
And as you say, the grassy stretch is very attractive.
Am I right in thinking that buffalo milk makes a great mozzarella?
Something for your new 'cooking from scratch' regime:-) ?
