books or nook?

DSCF2840
We are so close to hitting the road to New Orleans, and while getting things gathered up, I paused and thanked my lovely nook once again for keeping me from lugging 5 books in a bag.  The nook takes up a lot less room and weighs a lot less than taking all of those books. :0)

I still need to name my nook, any suggestions?

  2. i've thought about getting a reader of some sort but still haven't taken the plunge. it does appear to be handy when going on a trip with five books though. hope you have a safe and wonderful trip. have a great day.

also, Wisconsin does appear colder than here. the snow we did have has almost melted away, sigh and the ten inches we were supposed to get has passed us by.

  4. I don't know why, but as soon as I read 'any suggestions?'... Nook-n-Time came to mind... I don't have one, but it sure sounds handy! =)
I know one thing, I'm interested in that Ghost Night by Heather Graham... I'm gonna check into that one! Thanks! =)

  5. Aren't these the best? I have an ipad and am loving it....just downloaded the Oprah magazine and it is wonderful - no paper to throw away (I always feel guilty doing that)!

  6. I haven't "read" on mine yet, but I've loaded some books. I'm saving them for a two week cruise in April. I have plenty of books to read, most of them free, around here. I haven't named my nook, yet, either. Have a great trip.

  9. Oh ... I kind of like "sNOOKie" that someone else suggested ... but that is only if you can stand her!! Aren't e-readers the best!? And you'll love "In The Woods" (I hope.) And I can't wait to read the Sedaris.
