My step-daughter takes Labor Day seriously

shaped with love

We got word this morning that Marissa is in labor.  We are excitedly waiting for more news (she's in Missouri), but we should be grandparents once again by the end of the day.  I'll let you know when I know!

I chose the flower photo because I thought the red area kinda looked like a heart.  And babies equal ♥ hearts, right?!

UPDATE: Well, my step-son called, 'Oops, he forget to tell us the hospital sent her back home', Braxton Hicks, so we still get to wait a little while longer. :(  I'm so impatient!  Ever since I had the dream about her being pregnant I have been anxious to meet the little fellow.  Her due date is the 5th, so really any day now, right?

  12. OK, I know it's been a long time since I visited. Love the new digs. Just wanted you to know I've not forgotten about you, it's just a wee bit crazy at my place.
Will be back to check on the baby.
At first, I thought they named him Braxton Hicks.

Duh? Does that tell you how tired I am?

You've been busy posting! Five times since I checked. And, all those bug pics. UGH! Loved the birdies and turtle. You are disorganized? Not really. I'm embarrassed at how messy I am. The kidlet found my old camera, and in addition to shots of me in my undies, he's illustrated how much the house resembles a pigsty.

Sorry for the of grandkid. It's gonna happen.

  20. Awwwww...shucks, Lisa!!

I was hoping to wish you Congrats, grandma!

You know, Josh was due on the 3rd, and if I wasn't induced ten days later, who knows how long he would have stayed!!
    LOL!

Looking forward to an update, hopefully much sooner, than later! *wink*
    Definetly, not much longer!

  22. My sister is due on the 22nd but they are going to induce her on the 11th or 12th. My sister has been diabetic since she was 8 and this is her second. She is doing well, but has this back nerve trouble that makes her hand too painful to use. She is hoping having the baby will help or she will have trouble holding the little one- a girl like the first one. Waiting is tough.
