Walk the plank

t1043

This summer I went on my first ever Pirate Adventure! Courtesy of Pirate’s Hideaway in Eagle River, Wisconsin.

t1044

We had a beautiful day of it!

t1045

The ship is 50 feet long and will hold about 30 people. You can even rent it for your wedding or other event.

t1046

The Time Flies When You’re Having Rum!

t1047

I think cannons and Rum don’t mix.

t1048

But you can hang up a monkey or two.

t1049

A real pirate guides the tour, with his parrot of course!

t1053

t1056

The pirate has great rings of mystery!

t1054

And a trunk full of jewels of course (actually costumes so you can dress like a pirate too)!

t1055

If you ask real nice he will give you a tattoo.

t1050

There’s a lot of water to explore.

t1051

I was lucky and wasn’t made to walk the plank.

t1052

I never saw Johnny Depp out on the seas but I did see a huge Eagle’s nest and the Eagle it belonged to.

  7. Sounds like a wonderful adventure for sure … that kind of reminds me of the overnight field trip I used to take with my 5th graders (after 5-6 weeks of study & preparation) on the Brig Pilgrim in Dana Point Harbor each year. Love the interesting perspectives of your photos.
    Hugs and blessings,
