i've always thought one's scars showed a person lived a little. glad you're embracing them. that picture is incredible. have a great day.
I'm totally with you on the scars front. They mark us as unique, and serve notice that the goal of this life thing isn't to get through it as quietly as possible. Life should be lived. And if we get scraped up along the way, so much the better. This photo is a powerful reminder of that, and I appreciate your sharing it in this way. Amen on so many levels.
yes, proof of life. and it is so wonderful that you embrace them.
I got my first stitches when I was only about 6 months old. Been getting them ever since too it seems like. I am not worried about leaving behind a good looking corpse. I intend to drive the whee;s off this body and if there's anything useful left folks are welcome to it. The scars and the events that created them are all a part of the whole, so bring 'em on.
Wonderful photo. I enjoyed reading your thoughts. Need a dose of your attitude!
Scars are proof of life ... what a perfect way to state it! Love the photo. You've really got to start a greeting card line!!!
