Getting Dinner

IMG_7825

This Blue Jay was making a ton of noise above my head! Rattling branches and creating a fuss! I pointed the camera up and discovered that he had caught dinner!

I hope he sticks around, we are almost as overrun by caterpillars as we are by chipmunks!

For the record, he did not poop on me.

  2. LOL..you take a chance when you get under a tree with birds in them. That is a great photo...hopefully they will help to keep the caterpillars from taking over.

  10. Ah, yes his/her dinner is something to chat about. Bluejays usually fly away before I can capture them with my lens.

  14. The way you've framed him through the leaves and branches is amazing! The second shot where he has the caterpillar kind of stretched out as he snacks. Don't know whether to applaud or gag! Really great pics!
