I Wanna

Do you see what I see? At first I thought it was a snake, but it wasn't.

He was in the same tree as the Pelican, just a little further down.

He sat so still, if he hadn't moved I might have missed him.

I loved watching him eat!

I saw several Iguanas while in the Keys. One ran in front of our car, causing us to laugh - not something we're used to saying, "Watch out for the Iguana!" lol

I think he was trying to get closer so we could chat.

Or maybe, he wanted to eat me!

I think he made the Pelican nervous.

  3. I love the iguana. He's got such a wonderful orange tone. The iguanas were one of our favorite parts of our trip to Guantanamo Bay

  4. One thing I learned when living in Fl! Always watch where you walk, you never know what is lurking around. Those are great shots of Fl. wildlife.

  7. What a great find. I guess I'm oblivious, but I didn't realize there were iguanas just hanging out in Florida. I've spent a lot of time down there too (Naples area so not that far from the keys).

  22. I see what you saw...and Iguana :) We used to have one, for three years until I was pregnant for my second son and we found him a new home where he was even more spoiled. Great shots, Lisa.
