I love them both, but really do not know who is who> but I like the one with the fuzzy Mohawk and green eye shadow and the pic with the reflection. gorgeous photos!
Maybe I'm biased against the Anhinga's black face, maybe I associate the Cormorant with its contribution as a fisherman's helper in China... the Cormorant gets my vote ;-)
As much as I love cormorants, I've got to go with the dude with the green eye-shadow. He's like David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust; simply striking! I think it's fantastic that you gave us an opportunity to see these two birds side-by-side.
Nice wildlife shots!

ReplyDeleteI love them both...very interesting how they have to dry their wings due to lack of natural oil to repell the water. Great shots!
ReplyDeletebeautiful captures!
ReplyDeleteThey are all beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSpectacular. I love to see these critters drying their wings. They look so majestic when they spread their wings like that!
ReplyDeleteMy vote goes for the black guy with silver wings and green eyes. Amazing! The Anhinga?
ReplyDeleteI couldn't pick a favorite...all of these are incredible captures, I really love the ones w/ the wings spread!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots. I see these birds in swampy areas like the Everglades. Where did you shoot these?
ReplyDeleteWonderful! They lok so majestic :)
