Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign MckLinky. :) MM started on Sept 29, 2008 - Thanx to all of you for helping make it such a fun start to the week!
The tulips are so pretty, Lisa. I can still find fresh tulips here in the florists, they are imported from Holland. Due to our hot climate, the tulips can't be grown here unless in a glasshouse environment.
The tulips are just beautiful and your shots are amazing!! This is my first week doing MM and I hope to improve so I can have the caliber pictures that you do.
Shallow depth of field in macro photographs has the potential to produce stunning results - as you have done in these pictures. thank you for sharing them with us. And what happened to "missing"? When I click on that post, it's really MISSING!
And I would paint it a deep candy apple red - the white racing stripe would be the perfect adjunct.
such beautiful pictures. close ups bring a refreshing new perspective to the forefront. as for the missing post... i couldn't comment because the link says it's not there. hope you start feeling less out of sorts as the day passes. hope all is well.
I'd love to know your aperture...I can't decide if I should be shooting wide open or not. I'm going to look now for a macro to enter.
