Sweet Grandchildren
I have no doubt, that if I hadn't went to the doctor when I did, I would not have been here to meet my grandchildren. Everyday, I am thankful for my doctors and chemotherapy giving me the extra time. Time to see my daughter become a mother. Time to get to know my grandchildren. They are so much fun! I can't imagine my life without them, their hugs, kisses, and precious 'MeMaw's.

ReplyDeletei had no idea that you have been battling this terrible disease. my heart goes out to you. my sister {who is also my best friend in the world} has been fighting cancer for over a year now. they have only given her 1-2 years but they don't know how many people are praying for her! she is part of a new clinical trial in nashville. we are hoping and praying that this is the drug that is going to kill this awful stuff.
every day presents new emotions~ it's a very hard thing to deal with.
i'll be praying for you as well.
many hugs~

ReplyDeleteI don't remember what it was like before Grandchildren. It has been a marvelous time for me.
There was a reason that you went to the doctor when you did Lisa - you were supposed to meet those grandchildren. Enjoy every day and as one Grandma to another - I KNOW you do.
An adorable grandchild and a great photo with glittering eyes, so full of life and joy and I do understand that it gives you so much

Just had our first granchild, a girl on July 2. She is so awesome. She has been in the NICU for two weeks and she came home yesterday. What a wonderful feeling to see your own child become a parent. Your granddaughter is gorgeous and that is a great photo of her.
ReplyDeleteOh. my. gosh. She melts my heart....beautiful.
