My favorite of all the birds. Thanks for posting this wonderful images.
So many great captures! Happy WW!
Love the shot of the baby pelican! So different than the adults.
Fun bird to watch. Great shots Lisa...must make a note to myself to go in search of a pelican photo when we are in the south for the winter.
They are so beautiful and photogenic. I have a friend who just did a similar post yesterday. I never get tired of looking at them.
Stunning pictures, Lisa! I love the 5th from the top, with his wings spread.
Beautiful!! Love all of them!
Fantastic shots of the wing spans. Their colors are so soft and I love the way their feathers part down the back.
This guy is a beauty...what a wing span! Awesome!
Great photos of this beautiful bird. Really good to see after the awful photos of brown pelicans drenched in sludge from the BP oil disaster
The reflection in that third one is just gorgeous. What a stately bird!
Stunning photography!
Perfect pelican portraits. Positively pleasing.

I love pelicans and they are so plentiful down here....my favorite is the second shot w/wings outstretched.
Good job --nice, sharp photosJim
Beautiful shots! I particularly like the last one. Something about the green of the water and the colors on the pelicans head and bill that look so lovely together!
Beautiful bird and yet it gives a majestic feel and demands respect.
I have seen lots of brown pelicans at the beach but never noticed they had yellow heads. Beautiful photos.Happy WW!
