recycling

103010

Our minds are full of ideas of the way our lives should be, or will be.  After diagnosis, we have to dump all those thoughts out, pick through them, reevaluate, recycle.

  2. Good post - focus on important things and not sweat the little things...

ps. the photo reminds me of Mom. She sews so she has lots of buttons. When I was little, I used to play with them. I don't live with her now, so I have my own collection of buttons, even though I don't sew...

  5. I read a similar sentiment in The Power of Now the other day. Our minds take over our lives and are constantly referencing yesterday and tomorrow and never today - NOW

  6. Great way to put it. I am still re-evaluating and recycling. I think it's a good thing. One positive side of cancer perhaps.

  7. Hi Lisa,

I did go back and re-visited the original post the led to this wonderful recycling photo. You have such a gift to share your feelings through photos! However, I'm glad you are sharing your feelings more. That is the first step to healing.

You are here for a reason. You are here for a purpose. Hold on to that. I want to put something here, if I may?

"Actually speaking, no one needs to be healed; that is, health is an omnipresent reality."

Have no doubts. "Do not give in to "that" belief, because it is nothing but a thought which says that you cannot heal."

"Any disease, in order to operate through the body, must first be a mental picture in the inner mentality; it must first be subjective, if it is to become objectified. Disease is an image of thought held in Mind until it appears in the body. This is all there is to it."

"Disease is mentally contagious through suggestion; so we must surround our patients with an aura, or atmosphere, of protection. Thiis is nothinig less than the realization of the presence and the power of God, or Spirit, as their Life, as the only Life there Is, as Complete and Pefect in them."

"Healing is accomplished by uncovering, neutralizing and erasing false images of thought, and letting the perfect idea, or ideal, reflect itself through subjective mind into the body."

Realizing that conscious thought operates through a Power which is Infinite, we see that there can be no limit to the power to heal, other thatn the limit of ability to conceive that Power as healing."

You are perfect because your life is the life of a Divine Presence that breathes you; that created you. The same power that created you is the same power that heals you. You are healed. Know this and act on it.

I hope this was a blessing to you and you don't see this as egoic. If you want to talk with me, please let me know. Sending you health, wholeness, completeness, happiness, joy, peace and love!

You are born into perfection. Your spirit knows nothing other than that. If you are not juicing, please buy a juicer and juice, juice, juice.. Greens, Greens, Greens. Loving you Ms. Lisa.

  9. There is something very pleasing about this photo.
And I think we should all take time to dump and recycle our thoughts even without an event like cancer.
