fallen

100910

Just having a bad day. I feel like the dying leaves spread everywhere, the sap drained out, my color fading, disintegrating. I find things start looking up quicker if I just admit that things seem bleak, then pick myself up, dust myself off and keep on keeping on.

leaves

The fisheye on the Canon 50D and down on the ground. I do not know why but things have been very tough lately. I just have a lot of things going through my mind. A list of things I want to change and trying to get my head around how to make that happen. Really not cancer related, although a result of having had cancer. Bites!  And I just have to keep reminding my family, "Don't poke the bear!"

  2. I bought a bowl for my friend and colleague this weekend from Gallery Q that is a cancer bowl. The message in each one is different. Her's says "you're doing great" and she will find it tomorrow on her desk as a surprise. Sometimes I think that it is easy to overlook when all around you seems to be closing in. Keep reminding yourself that you are strong. I am praying for you and thinking of you.
    Enjoy the day.

  6. Lisa, I hear you, from the inside. I find myself here, too, for different reasons - but feelings so familiar. Been up, been down and hope still springs in the soul ♥

  7. I'm loving the fish-eye lens! Must speak about this to Mr. Jenners as a possible acquisition here!

  8. I think a lot of people go through the "blahs" this time of year! I love that bottom image, that splash of color and the fish eye makes this exciting!
