The spider and the aphid

lc2771

Hello, tiny friend.

lc2770

I had no idea why this spider was so riled up at first.

It quickly became apparent, it's lunch time. He has an aphid in his mouth - he's a small spider.

  5. :0) I could be mesmerized for hours with that type of thing. I love watching when they are wrapping up their dinners in their webby cocoons too!

  6. I always say I can't stand spiders, but since I got a decent camera, I kind of like watching the little things. Now I just want a decent macro lens - on the $$$ side - what equipment do you use? Your photos are fabulous!

  7. Before the time of digital cameras, we "captured" a black widow and a scorpion...or should I say, my husband captured them.
He put them in a plastic container attached to a Ken-a-Vision and we watched the action on our TV.
    Care you guess who won?

These photos are amazing. It's been a long time since I've visited, so I plan to sit with a cup of tea and enjoy your talent.
