Wisconsin Wildflower - Trillium

Large-flowered Trillium (aka White-flowered Trillium)

The Trillium is finally blooming. This flower is 2-4” on an 8-18’ stalk. It’s a protected flower here which always strikes us as funny because it is extremely abundant. Just about any wooded area sports this pretty white blooms, sometimes so many the ground looks white with snow.
