Spring, finally

My flowers have held out for so long. Tomorrow we leave for Missouri and they will most likely finish opening the second we leave, lol.


I have loaded wordpress on my iPhone so hopefully will be able to post from it while we're gone.

Macro Monday Remembering Spring

Remember my miniature rose that survived the winter? It didn't survive the bunny. *sigh*

Last year we planted a little bit of ground cover in the flower bed to fill in. It came back nicely and even. . .

bloomed!

I had fun pointing the camera at the blooms, not looking through, not knowing what I captured until I saw it on my computer. :)

Just a day or two later they were opened.

The tulips actually put some buds on this year, but they did not bloom.

Pretty Pink Petals (Macro Monday)

I love tulips, I wish their blooms lasted longer, but still, I love them! I had to catch them right as they were opening.

And I had to examine all parts.

Their petals are like feathers.

Their leaves like little canoes.

Their centers like little parasols and windchimes.
