Our summers are so short that I like to spend as much time as possible sticking my nose in flowers.
This time I took my camera along.
Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign MckLinky. :) MM started on Sept 29, 2008 - Thanx to all of you for helping make it such a fun start to the week!
Lovely - I really must get out ito the garden this week. Apparently summer is on its way, so perhaps we might even get some sun.
ReplyDeleteI love the internal macroscopic capture of the third flower (white). You have well-navigated your camera in a straight and frank focus. Good on you!
ReplyDeleteThe first and last shots are stunning! Just lovely! You've been doing some great flower photography lately!
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful, Lisa. Nothing wrong with smelling flowers. I do it all the time, in spite of my allergies.
ReplyDeleteThese are really close and wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThe first is my favorite but you got the center beautifully in the third shot.
Glad you stuck your camera into these blooms Lisa. Very nice especially the first shot. And you captured the whites in the next two while retaining texture. I like them all.
ReplyDeleteI love the first shot, so stunning! Due to our climate, flowers bloom all year long so if you're looking for flowers in the middle of winter, fly to Singapore! Thanks for sharing the flower's name in my blog, I remembered my mom used to have the dried straw-flowers on her table and they last for years! she told me then that the flowers were from Australia.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers. I would love to stick my nose in too! :)
ReplyDeleteAlways such beautiful shots!
ReplyDeleteI love your flowers, our summers are shorts, too, I should put my hat on and wander outdoors!
ReplyDeleteI am jalous ! I won't come back ! (grin)

Here it´s no rain in sight today either and that´s good !
Like to have nice weather when I´m free from work :)
Beautiful macros. I love the portrait orientation on the shot - it looks like the back of a Gerbera daisy.

Love your flowers!! I always love your photography.
ReplyDeleteIt has been so long since I have been able to participate - work has kept me so busy - but summer is here and school it out for 2 months - I am excited to be able to get out and get some pictures to fill up my already full (17,000) hard drive - I must be insane!
