tick tock

092010

I drank my lovely barium berry smoothie and went for my wonderful ride through the doughnut. The IV was put in with only one stick, one painful stick, but only one.  And now, while my fate hangs in the balance, I am supposed to go about my life like nothing is happening for three days.  Why does time always move slower when you're waiting for test results?

  1. what a great watch!

I'm sorry time is going so slowly for you. I can relate on a smaller scale. I hope everything goes speedy for you this time. Of course you'll be in my thoughts - best wishes for the best results!

  2. Do something sweet and special for yourself. Have lunch with some friends. visit a museum, go to the park, take a hike (literally). Do things that relax you and bring you joy. Waiting, does not change the results. So find something that you love and do it. You will be happier for the next few days. My prayers continue to be with you. I know He loves you and will bring you comfort.

  4. No worries my friend. 3 days will go by slowly, but when those testa come back with awesome results, you'll forget all about those 3 days. *hugs*

  6. Lisa,

Your images are lovely, and I love the way you so simply but eloquently get to the heart of cancer emotions. My man will have his first CT scan on December 14th and then every 3 months for 2 years. I hope all was well with yours.

  7. you have a wonderful way of telling your story wich helps both you and us around to think of the world and our days in another way than usual. A wonderful old clock in a nice angle as well
