SOOC #14 - the bee

IMG_0095

I am ever amazed at how much braver I am when hiding behind the lens. Normally I flee from bees, but this one drew me in.

He flitted and flew and was so hard to follow!

And while he was flitting around this damselfly rested peacefully.

  2. Great shots, as always. I'm not so bad with bees (thought I do dodge every now and then)... It's wasps that make me freeze to the spot as I was stung when I was a kid!

  3. Me too...it is true how we tend to have much more courage with that camera in the lead :) These are gorgeous shots, SOOC!!! Love how the colors compliment one another :)

  11. You did very well! I think the bee was not really paying attention to you, I think the flowers were its main interest!

  14. I'm always amazed at how much we have in common! I have a fear of bees... unless I have my camera, then they are another photography subject!
