Beginning traditions with the next generation

I guess you could call it a tradition to teach kids to blow dandelions puff balls. I hope it’s just the first of many traditions I get to teach my grandson. Don’t you love his snort face? You’ll see a lot of that scrunchy face in this post.

The perfect combination to get those fuzzies off is a mixture of slobbery blowing and finger picking.

Ok, I guess he still needs lessons on which ones to pick. I think he really likes yellow.

    I love this post! It's so sweet! To this day I still pick up dandelions puff balls and blow them!!!!! =) It's so nice to know you can pass fun things like this on to the next generation!!!!!!!!!

    Oh, Tristan's so sweet. Mine still doesn't know the difference either. And, I think probably the scrunch is to smell?

  25. Psst! You're never too old to blow on danelion puffs! I got a couple pictures of Caleb blowing on one when I was taking his senior pics. They didn't turn out the best, but Jo included one in the slideshow she made for his graduation party.
