HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Because we did not see any bear while in Glacier National Park we decided to swing through Great Bear Adventure - where our car is our cage, lol.

They have 3 huge black bears wandering in an area where you can drive this loop of road as many times as you like before leaving.

My what big teeth!

I'm really glad we did it, it was fun seeing them, however it was hard to photograph them without cars in the way and through the window - you aren't allowed to roll your windows down.

  2. Hi Lisa
Happy New Year! What a fantastic place. You've got some very good shots there. I love bears, actually prefer teddy bears, but love to watch real ones from a safe distance.

Wonder what they do to help if you break down.

  15. Scary looking bears! I've never seen such bears except in pictures or TV, we only the sun bear in our zoo, slightly smaller than this black bear.

  17. That sign, "Your Car is Your Cage" is kind of creepy/scary. But your pictures are terrific. They're majestically cute creatures. =D
