A few years ago my mom was looking for a set of salad tongs and we came up with these.

We really liked them because at the time we were living in Texas and they made us think of the beach.

They really are rather gaudy, and heavy!

Maybe now I need to find her some snowflake ones.

  1. I am so sorry about your computer crash. I hope you have been able to recoup most everything. I've been through that and it is devastating. Next to a natural disaster, in this day and age a computer crash is right up there with a house fire. Thanks for reminding me it is time to back up my systems.

On to more fun topics...I've posted my Macro Monday already!

  4. Oh, I like them. And I much prefer a beach theme over snowflakes! Been snowing here all day. Wonder how much we'll have by morning.

  27. Oh my, that is so pretty Lisa! I did not do Macro Monday today, I have been slaving with my camera to get something, but only one picture was good enough I thought, so I really was not happy with it! You have two new participants this week Lisa! Macro Monday is getting famous in Belgium, two of my Belgian blogger friends participated this week! Mamapippa, and Nana. I often go on photo walks with Nana, she does great macro's!

  33. Hi--Just stopping by to thank you for visiting my blog earlier. Though my husband did want you to know that the cool photos he took of the Christmas lights were straight from the camera -- no Photoshop involved. I think he was a little upset, actually! So I'm passing along the info. Also, he had me post info on how he got those effects if you are interested. Seems like you are bit of a photographer yourself! I've been trying to get him to start a photo blog so I'll have to let him know about your Macro Monday! he might enjoy that!

  35. Those are very nice. They would be nice for summer or a beach party in winter. Snowflake or snowman ones would be nice and seasonal.
