I had never seen a white deer before. But when we made our trip to the zoo in the northwoods we found several.
They were very friendly and one even allowed me to pet it.
Hey, you’re not a deer!
Don't forget the book giveaways.
Oh, the little goat is so cute! He's my favorite!
Truly amazing seeing this! I do like the look of a true Bambi though! Your critters images are fantastic! Great camera work!
Me neither! Very interesting to see. Love the little goat too :-)
is that goat escaping??!! lol love the fawn...that green background really sets him off. great shots.
Love it! Your pictures just seem to get better and better, while mine get fuzzier and fuzzier! Me thinks its time I started to wear my specs!
Gorgeous (and adorable) shots! and nope...never saw a white deer...you sure do seem to find the rare white things in life...lol!Nancy
Great deer photos. They are such beautiful gentle creatures. Can I link to your blog?
Very nice pictures. I always love the does. They are cute.
Awww...how cute! If you look up "doe-eyed" in the dictionary, I believe you will see that very first picture. Around here, I'm sad to say that most of the deer I see are...um...deceased. They are born and raised in this built-up area, so they have no fear of cars or trucks. They wander at will on the roads, and I've even seen them on our local interstate. Deer can pose a threat to vehicles too - they have caused many accidents when people swerve to avoid them, or when cars hit the deer and subsequently lose control. The problem goes both ways and it's very sad. So it's wonderful to see these cuties in a protected environment!
Cute! The white one looks like he/she/it is smiling. Great shots.Robin
I've never seen a white deer before but she is beautiful! I could watch deer all day - there's something so magestic and so sweet about them. Beautiful shots!
They are all awesome (as usual) :)But I totally adore the ones of the white one.Lovely. Totally!
I love the deer! But I like the last one best, he's SO cute!! :-)
That pygmy goat may not be a deer, but as you doubtless noticed, he's at least as quick and agile as one! I was wondering how you managed to get so close to these guys. I thought perhaps your ninja like slow-shutter skills had begun spilling over into other areas!Phenomenal work as always Lisa!
Awww deer are by far my favorite animal. We'll see them around our neighborhood sometimes and it always just makes my day :) These pictures are so great. I love the first one, and I so have never seen a white one either! How funny!
My mom loves deer, so every Christmas we would get her an ornament of some sort with a deer on it. These are lovely photos of such a lovely creature!

I squealed with delight at the little one. Just how cute are these. Linky still not working.
Cute photos..I don't think a white deer would survive very long in the wild...
albino deer? this is the first time I see one! we have white tiger in our zoo, which was in the news recently for mauling a worker to death.
I've never seen the white ones before either! GREAT shots!! I love the last one the best too!

I love the goat! I've not ever seen a white deer either. We used to live in Michigan and the only other colored deer I've seen had a silver coat.
I’ve never seen an albino deer either. How ‘kewl’ that you were able to pet one. Love the Billy Goat at the end.Hugs and blessings,
