Pampered ducks! The walk along the red carpet to their fountain every morning, and are tucked into bed at night on the roof. They retire after 3 months service. What a life!
We decided to have dinner at the Rendezvouz, to enter you have to go through the alley - and we were able to see the Peabody at the end of the block.
That's a funny story and having live ducks in the lobby must be interesting. The dog statues are a little freaky. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteCool shots! I lived in Jackson, TN for a couple of years. Daughter and I go to Memphis occasionally. We were there last fall. We didn't stay at the Peabody, we stayed at the Westin, but guess where we ate? Rendezvous. Yummy!
