Windsor Ruins, Mississippi

Built in 1861, it survived the Civil War only to be destroyed by an accidental fire Feb 17, 1890, the only things surviving were the columns and some metal rails.

    The burned columns in all the bare trees is starkly beautiful. Great shots and a really pretty place!

    Those columns are amazing - intricate and graceful, even though faded. (Hope I can say the same about myself when I'm in ruins...)
