I love Snow!

DSCF3804

I love snow! Every time I discover flakes are floating down I am popping my head out the door every few minutes.

Bye deer!

No, really, bye deer! We cannot take up our Christmas decorations until we get enough melt off, or we'll break them, so we simply unplug and let them get covered.

After we've cleared the driveway . . .

Then I must get out of the house and check the world out. Plows rule!

And we don't have tiny plows up here - you do know where plows are made, don't you? Yep, Wisconsin. We have some monsters!

Plows are everywhere when the snow is fresh.

Also, the sleds (snowmobiles) come out.

So, uh, yeah, this is what my world looks like for a good 6 months of the year. . .

Even parking lots are cleared in record time. Nothing slows us down.

The piles just continue to grow.

Our little town of 12,000 has a snow clearing budget of 1.4 million dollars.  Snow is expensive, and salt is hard on our cars, sand helps with traction too, and someday spring will come. . .

  2. After false hope of spring for a few days we're just having another snowstorm. Might turn into rain later but just now it's a white world out there again.

  4. Great shots, you got quite a bit! I love snow too, but I'm glad our has been gone for a while now. We're expecting 3" of rain today, so serious flooding is a concern. I'd be a little worried about a Florida company that made plows!
