If there was snow on the ground, I could definitely believe the praying part. this looks like a totally amazing place to visit!! Wish we were there.
Wonderful shots! What an adorable critter.
Great series of close ups. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ADORABLE!!! I sometimes feel the opposite of petite... :)Every time I see Devil's tower, I think of the mashed potatoes Richard Dreyfuss sculpted into a mountain on Close Encounters. :)
Sometimes my laptop has the hardest time pulling up your site. Maybe it's the quality of your photos or something that slows it down. But I shall persist!
The prairie dogs are so cute. I would love to visit this place. Great photos of the monument and the prairie dogs.
Your prairie dog photos are wonderful, Lisa. I've been to Devil's Tower and am amazed that people actually climb it!
Devil's Tower is an amazing formation. Love the prairie dogs. Great shots!
What a sweet series on the prairie dog! And what an interesting natural tower.
Great shot of the Devil's Tower. Now I must build it out of mashed potatoes! And I do love me some prairie dogs.
These are wonderful. Lovely seeing the prairie dogs in the wild. We only get to see them in Belfast Zoo and it isn't the same. Years ago, the prairie dogs escaped their compound and lived for a long time in a couple of banks loose in the zoo but then after the ring tailed lemurs who also had freedom went on a walk across two roads and onto the motorway (resulting in one lemur death) the zoo clamped down on free living residents and the prairie dogs were moved back into their compound.
