Pretty Pink Petals (Macro Monday)

IMG_5737

I love tulips, I wish their blooms lasted longer, but still, I love them! I had to catch them right as they were opening.

And I had to examine all parts.

Their petals are like feathers.

Their leaves like little canoes.

Their centers like little parasols and windchimes.

Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign Mr Linky. Don't forget to visit each other. :)

  7. So lovely! Tulips don't grow here due to our hot weather, unless inside a greenhouse, but I can still find them in the florists. They are imported from Holland.

  18. Your tulips are a really lovely colour - unusaual - you mostly see red/ yellow/ white - the softer shades not that often. Love the detailed macro images ... seems we were doing he 'same" thing .. mine were irises.... ;-)

  19. These are lovely photos and I'm with you - I love tulips. Perhaps it's precisely because their beauty is so transient that we love them. :)
