Painted in Ice (Macro Monday)

We had a nice heavy frost one morning and I thought it looked pretty!

I did zip in for a macro, but honestly I like seeing all the wisps better.

  3. Looks like old-fashioned lace, doesn't it? I'm surprised you had frost like this so late in the year...but I guess it is only mud May. (It has been a warm spring in Ontario.)

  4. What WONDERFUL crystal views ... not something I'm likely to see where I live though it DID drizzle much of today so I didn't get things planted as I'd intended to do.

  10. I took some photos of jack frost's artwork this winter too. It is amazing what mother nature can do with a bit of cold weather and water. Yours are great.

  19. Frost...brrrr but I agree they make great photos with all different crystals
    My favourite is the first one with the crystals a bit away and where you can se a bigger part of the frost
    Hope it's over soon, I would not appreciate frost right now though I know it might happen

  21. Wow, you had a very heavy late frost, didn't you? We've been pretty lucky here (so far) with the spring frosts this year. Nothing like that! My wisteria blossom is still intact!
