  2. Now are you absolutely *sure* that fence is secure? No gaps underneath or anything? Great shots. :)

  4. I hope its strong and secure as I would not like to get too close to that gator Lisa. You've always got some great wildlife shots...........

Hopefully I'll be back doing macro monday posts again Lisa - I've missed those recently and am looking forward to doing them again.

  8. I really like that first shot. How amazing the water is so clear you can see right through it to get an eyefull of gator too!

  9. I'm glad you cleared that up for us. But I can't help thinking that must have been a pretty stout fence. I'm betting that your Lumber Yard Variety chain link wouldn't do much more than slow that gator down for a second or two. But what a fantastic capture!

  13. those gators are like a step back in time. glad there was a fence
but it is crocs that jump.... so a fence isn't necessarily safety from them

  21. What great shots! The first ones bring back not so good memories though. I used to live in Jacksonville and we visited them once. My dad has an drinking prob and was being horrible. He got my brother who was a few months old and dangled him over the edge above the water. He was drunk and I thought that he was going to drop him in there. I was 12 at the time and my brother was MY baby since I was the one that cared for him. My heart stopped and I prayed that he wouldn't slip. Ugh sorry about the horror story. But seeing them made my heart stop! That was so long ago too! I really love the pics though and you did a great job taking them!

  23. WOW! I'm glad to hear you were on the *other* side of a fence. I LOVE seeing pictures of scary critters. It makes me feel like I'm brave but I don't really have to be. ;o)

The bird shots are magnificent, too!
