I love watching the leaves emerge in the spring. But I was really amazed that my big rose bushes did not survive the winter, yet this little one, the kind you usually keep in the house, woke back up. Very odd.

  1. I also love to watch the flowers n plants come back to life in the spring. You never know what will survive after a harsh winter.

  3. Don't give up on your rose bushes. Prune them back severly and they may come back. The little one survived because it is a miniature rose. They are amazingly tough.

  5. I love photos with blurry backgrounds and a sharp image. (I'm sure there is a name for that but I don't know what it is!)

  7. I'm sorry your roses croaked.
Was the winter just too tough this year?

Sometimes a late freeze is what gets my plants. They are waking up and "Ice, ice, baby."
