Wood Stork flying

IMG_3862a

I've never seen a wood stork in Wisconsin, I don't believe there are any. But we saw a few in Florida. I really liked this photo, just wish the tree branch hadn't been behind him.

And I don't really like his placement in these photos, but at least there's no branch, lol.

  2. interesting bird, never seen anyone like that
I would prefer more sky in front and less in the back for the feeling he/she is going forward, but that's me ;)
    thenks for showing anyway!

  4. What great shots! I love catching a bird in flight. If you really hate the branch in the background, you could probably clone it out fairly easily. I've done that once or twice using Picnik.

  9. Faaaaaaabulous shots Lisa!!! I get wound up about little things too (that most people don't even notice I've found). It's nice to know I'm not the only one!

  16. I don't think the tree in the first shot really takes so much away form it, but if it really bugs you that much, the background would make it pretty easy to clone it out in post. Just sayin'. The detail and motion are what's going to draw the reader in and you've got that in spades!
