Chiming Macro Monday

lc1269

For our first anniversary we went to the cities and we got a moose/bear/tree wind chime, so it only seemed fitting when we went to Door County for our third anniversary (we skipped the second one) that we get another wind chime.

I had no idea it was so dusty! Darn these macros!  This is the chime that is Tristan's favorite, it hangs in the kitchen and he loves to make it make noise.

Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign Mr Linky. Don't forget to visit each other. :)

  3. I love these closeup pictures of the chimes. The colors are vivid. There is something magical about wind chimes. I think I should buy one to share with my kids. I would like to get one with some "personality" to add a little something to my always evolving home decor :)

  4. I'm with Kath. Anything that shows dust that plainly should come with a way of getting rid of it.

Somebody call the Swiffer people, I've got a great opportunity for them!

  5. Beautiful macros, dust and all. That is an issue, isn't it? I find dust and cobwebs on things I had no idea were dusty.

You've given me more ideas with your chime photos. Thanks, Lisa!

  11. Macros do seem to have a way with exposing dust. Regardless, this is a beautiful chime.

Just made me think I'd better go look to see if the wind blew mine down... I haven't heard them the last few days. Duh.

  15. I can see dust even on the back of the lady bird macro I took two weeks back, I guess its a bitter truth that accompanies macros. A small spider from me this week.

  33. How beautiful! Heehee, the macro lens does show every little imperfection, doesn't it? I took a macro pic of one of my rings one day, and I couldn't believe how many dents and scratches it had. Happy belated anniversary to you!
