  2. Love these! As always, you are a genius. I think I might participate in your Macro Monday next week. I have some great photos of bugs that we took over the summer that I think would be fun to share.

  3. Oh, chickadees!!!! I love chickadees! We don't have many here, but had tons of them in the winter when I lived in Oklahoma. There aren't many things I miss about OK, but the birds and the big sky are in that category.

  8. First of all, that squirrel is a hoot! Still looking for acorns? :-) Now, the little chickadees, I'm so glad you presented the shot both ways...two different feels. I prefer the horizontal. Great DOF.

  18. I would love to see a Black Capped Chickadee! I don't think their range pushes this far south, maybe on migration though. I'll have to look that up. Hope your having a good morning. :)

  19. Great shots! In Flanders it's snowing and the temperature is way under 0°c and where not used to it. The birds here have a hard time too.

  21. Great shots, especially the first two - I like how the branches and the bird are so sharp and in focus compared to the rest of the shot, and also how the bird looks so "focused" on his meal!

  23. Such lovely little critters. I love the squirrel one up against a packed mound of snow. It makes him look so small. The birds are really breathtaking as well against all the white. Beautiful shots my dear!

  24. MARVELOUS!!! Watching that little bird balance on the limb while holding its meal is amazing. So what kind of lens DO you use to capture these amazing pictures. Inquiring minds want to know ... seriously.
    Hugs and blessings,

  27. All I could see was the snow. *sniff* What does a girl have to do to get a bit of snow around here?
