  6. I think I am finally getting back in the swing of things after a couple of very busy weeks. I even had my Macro Monday almost ready when yours posted!

The snowflakes are beautiful! If I want them that perfect down here in the icy Ozarks I have to punch them out of white paper!!

  7. Lisa - Those shots are so beautiful. My little Tinkerbell shot fails in comparison, but I wanted to share it with everyone anyway. Have a good week!

  9. Wow, its pretty awesome to get in that close and look at all of the individual details of the differing snowflakes. There is just an infinite amount of details to absorb in this world. It would take infinity just to explore the individuality of snow flakes and ice crystals.

  31. I'm with Carrie. I wanna know what you used to get this shot because damn! These are amazing! (Crossing fingers and hoping it can be done with something that doesn't cost $1500.)

I'm trying to come up with a better word than "awe-inspiring", but I'm too overwhelmed to think of one. But I think you get the idea.

  32. Lisa...I think these are some of your best pics yet. Absolutely breathtaking, and not just because of the chilly air! I love snowflake pics, and it makes me happy to see some honest-to-goodness Wisconsin snowflakes! And yep, Wisconsin has been added to my "must visit" list :-)

  34. Lisa,

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I see you're still one of my favorite photographers of all time--what a FUN meme to host. I posted one I took over the holidays, but since we don't get snow, I went another direction.

    Thanks :)

  43. Amazing, Lisa! I have heard about how each snowflake is unique and blah blah blah. You've shown me, and now I believe it! I've looked closely at snow, but I haven't seen that. How did you do it? Am I just not looking closely enough because I'm too c-c-c-c-oooold? Is it some kind of super-duper magnification? Whatever it is, I have now seen it and believe it.

  44. That is too amazing for words. So wonderful.
