More offerings.
I kept wondering about all the tiny baby offerings, I figured it was about fertility, maybe it is, but I found out these little babies are inside the Mardi Gras cakes, so there must be an abundance of them. This one has a mohawk, lol.
There are so many places you can just explore for hours...and so many weird things!! I don't get the whole "baby" thing either...
ReplyDeletethe King's Cake used to celebrate on Fat Tuesday (whoever gets the baby in their piece of cake gets good luck) is definitely a fun tradition. we had a co-worker from lousiana bring a king's cake in one year to share at the office and educate us non-louisianans. :)
