1905 Carousel

DSCF4089

We followed road signs off our path to check out this carousel.  We were disappointed to find it enclosed, and closed.  I did the best I could shooting through dirty glass into a dark gazebo.

The Wurlitzer is in there, in the middle.  Love all the paintings!

  1. That's in great shape with nice details. Philadelphia Toboggan company is still in business about 10 miles from my home in Hatfield, PA.

  2. These carousels are so awesome. We have a Historic Dentzel/Looff Carousel here on our boardwalk. I see it often and the always enjoy the sound of its' Wurlitzer organ.
