Various finds during low tide

lc2088

Pigeons seemed to love the dock in Bar Harbor. This one wanted to eat my camera I think.

Check out the inside of this sea urchin.

I have no idea what kind of worm(?) this is. Do you?

I’m sure it lives in the water and must have got stranded when the tide went out.

There are all kinds of things to find when the tide goes out!

  3. I love the tide pools. I grew up in CA & we used to visit often. So many exciting discoveries there! Great photos!!

  4. That worm reminds me of a centipede (perhaps?). And, the pigeon is my favorite picture. You brought out its good side. Hope all is well. Have a great day.

  10. Love the sea urchin. Being averse to all worm-like things, that one is really creepy! I don't think I've ever seen pigeons at the sea.

  15. The worm looks to me like a night crawler, though I thought they were under-the-rock types. The urchin made me think of the inside of a baseball (dissected baseball).

Thanks for these views of Bar Harbor. I love Maine, and my Gram had a special affection for this place.
