What would you choose?

butterfly

If you could have any object or place in the world completely to yourself for one day, what would you choose?

It is hard for me to narrow it down to just one.  But, I would love to be on a beautiful deserted island for an entire day.  With my camera, of course.  And my husband. . . oops, not necessarily in that order!  ;0)

  1. That's a difficult question, eh... , I think I would be on that same island, so it would be a little bit less deserted...
But maybe I'll take the other site of the island !
    Have a nice day !

  3. I would love to be at the Magic Kingdom with my ENTIRE family & we would have the run of the place...no lines...all the rides to ourselves...and we could bump into each other all day long...everyone with huge smiles on their faces:)

  5. That butterfly is stunning! I think I would chose the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Can you imagine having the whole place to yourself? That would be incredible.

  7. Such a beautiful butterfly.

That's a really tough question, but without putting too much thought into it, I'd have to say a professional, high end camera. I'd want to have the whole day to take as many photos as I could and use as many features as I knew how. There are lots of places I'd love to be, but when it comes down to it, I'd be lonely without my family. LOL! Okay, so most days I would say that.

  8. On the beach at sunset with my husband, warm but not so warm a fire wouldn't feel great. A deck to sit on and sip dark red wine. I am closing my eyes and am almost there.

  11. A bed in breakfast in the fall in the New England States. Just me and my camera and maybe some Dr Pepper and Chocolate. If I can't get that, maybe a rubber room??? LOL

  12. Of course, not in that order necessarily! I think I would have said the exact same thing myself!

  14. Hi Lisa,
I am glad you like the scanning flowers. My scanner is simple, it's HP Photosmart C3180 All-in-One.

  15. That is actually a tough question - because right now I'd just like a whole day to be in my own bed with no one disturbing me - sleeping and being lazy.

  16. I have absolutely no answer. What ever brought this up? Love the butterfly, too.

  17. Well, I would have to be near the ocean. I think a cozy cottage on a beach that has lots of dunes and rocks and tall grasses where I could take lots of macro photos! That beautiful butterfly in your photo could come along, too --- I'd better take my hubby and dogs, absolutely!

Thanks for the chance to escape to my happy place for a few minutes!

  18. Pretty pic! I would choose some sort of warm but not hot place with beautiful surroundings. For one day I would take me camera, but not the hubby ;0)

  23. A deserted island (and I mean deserted no one ... not even my family ... that is part of the point and it is only 1 day, right?) with beautiful sandy beach, warm blue water, a hammock under a shady tree, all my favorite books. some good music, and lovely food that just magically appears for me. And no bugs or scary animals except the dolphins who come to play with me when I go swimming.

    Sigh.

Can you make this happen for me?

  24. Methinks I'm simply happy where I am right now ... spending time with my sister and with Molly ... pulling weeds (as I did today) ... walking on the beach ... reading a good book ... taking photographs of the sky, flowers, trees, ocean, birds, etc. ... creating collages to share ... just living, loving, laughing and enjoying each moment as I breathe, relax, and let go of worry over that over which I have no control. This is a BEAUTIFUL butterfly.
    Hugs and blessings,
