Wandering through Wisconsin

When you see the Wolf, does it clue you into the fact that it’s time for letter W in Martha’s A-Z Photo Challenge?

Well, it should.

Wren Watching.

Winter Waterside Wayside in Wisconsin.

Wonderful White Washers!

We stopped at a Winery and of course we brought home some Wine.  Wine sign on a Wall.

Wilson’s, in Door County, has some of the best ice cream! You may have seen them on the Food Network.

Wet Winding road.

I have been dying to take a picture of this sign because it always makes me giggle, and groan, at the cleverness, and letter W gave me the perfect excuse. The Wau-king Walking trail in Waupaca.

Wonderful Windmills on a Windy day. (My husband took these two windmill photos)

And last but not least, my Walgreen Photo from the Oshkosh filming of Public Enemies.

  1. I love the fifth one down Lisa! So peaceful looking.

  2. Oh my gosh! These were amazing photos! I think I want to move to Wisconsin! But did you just see this wolf out loose? That would give me second thoughts. And did you see the face of an old man in the second windmill cloud photo? It looked to me like what the North Wind would look like.

And I love the wet windy road.

Once again, you amaze me with your talent!

  3. As always fabulous pictures! I look at that wet winding road and I think........why didn't that make that road straight?

  4. I love wrens...nice job with the face in the clouds too! Spooky!

  5. Lisa, I enjoy your photography so, so much. How you might everything (even Walgreen's) look so incredible I do not know. Just natural talent I would say. What type of camera do you use? I have been meaning to ask you this for a while. Thanks for the W tour - I enjoyed very much.

  6. Wow, that is an ominous looking cloud! I also can't believe how many zigzags that road has in it so close together.

  7. Oh my goodness, that face in the clouds...yikes!!
    Wonderful pictures!!!
    Love em all!

  8. I love the windmill pics (the sky is gorgeous!!)

That wolf though make me nervous. Were you close to it or did you use a super zoom???

  9. That wolf is awesome.
    All pics are great again.
Love that winding road and the washers :D

  10. What a peaceful place to visit! I love the windmill with the vibrant blue sky in the background.

The road with all the curves is a great picture.

  11. Okay, did D put the face in the clouds? That is awfully cool! I love all the photos in this series. Wau-King is absolutely hilarious too!

  14. The clear lines that define the wolf's head and face startled me. He is a study in symmetry.

Love those washers. Seems like they want to be jacuzzis deep down!

  15. I love this post and the imagination you used with all the W's. Fantastic......................:)

I can hardly wait to see what you do with "X."

  16. did you guys photoshop that old man wind with the teeth getting ready to blow? freaky

  17. Where did you take the photo of the Wolf? Was it at a sanctuary? I visited a Wolf Sanctuary in Wisconsin once. I don't remember where it was.

After I finish my studies, I think I may go on a Wisconsin safari, too. I have another friend who lives near Wausau.
