Awww...how cute! If you look up "doe-eyed" in the dictionary, I believe you will see that very first picture. Around here, I'm sad to say that most of the deer I see are...um...deceased. They are born and raised in this built-up area, so they have no fear of cars or trucks. They wander at will on the roads, and I've even seen them on our local interstate. Deer can pose a threat to vehicles too - they have caused many accidents when people swerve to avoid them, or when cars hit the deer and subsequently lose control. The problem goes both ways and it's very sad. So it's wonderful to see these cuties in a protected environment!
I've never seen a white deer before but she is beautiful! I could watch deer all day - there's something so magestic and so sweet about them. Beautiful shots!
That pygmy goat may not be a deer, but as you doubtless noticed, he's at least as quick and agile as one! I was wondering how you managed to get so close to these guys. I thought perhaps your ninja like slow-shutter skills had begun spilling over into other areas!
Awww deer are by far my favorite animal. We'll see them around our neighborhood sometimes and it always just makes my day :) These pictures are so great. I love the first one, and I so have never seen a white one either! How funny!
