Actually it really wasn't that much work, it just looks that way lol. I love the pics of the birds, especially the owls. Gorgeous! Thanks for stopping by :-)
WOW! Impressive, in your face shots! I took a photo of a hawk in a tree on my campus last friday. Not so up-close, but I got it! I have some other raptor shots too. But can't find them. I'll make a note to myself to do some bird photos. But right now, I'm all into trees and plants. I don't move - too much.
Awesome photos as always Lisa. I had the rare experience of spying a red tail hawk in flight last weekend while I had my camera. Unfortunately I didn't have the telephoto attached at the time and he disappeared after making the one pass. I just did catch one shot, but there just wasn't enough to make a post of. And certainly nothing like these!
Marvelous photos!!! As for the posts I skimmed through to catch up here ... perhaps I should organize some ‘give aways’ myself since I’m working on getting rid of ‘stuph’ … In any case I’m skipping over the ‘give aways’ here because I’m sure someone else would appreciate these things more than me at the moment. Until I get rid of what I have and don’t need, I’m bringing NOTHING that isn’t consumable into this house … seriously! Hugs and blessings,
Wow, great shots! Were you at a zoo or some kind of bird sanctuary? Bald eagles always look so majestic, but I can't decide if the third bird (some kind of owl?) is cute or spooky looking!
I went bird watching with a group on Sunday. We saw red tailed hawk (many), a rough legged hawk, a golden eagle, a great horned owl, northern harrier, kestral... and a few others. Just love a good day seeing raptors.
wow fab images, we have had a pair of barn owls living in our barn for 5 years, rare to stay all year and have the one next..they must be happy....no we've moved we wonder if they are ok..
these are great photos! you have captured their elegance and "arrogance"... but the owl looks sweet from another angle (third shot)... i love its furry "beak bridge" (as oppose to nose bridge for humans) :))
Great shots all! The first is classic...and I think the last one is sweet in a way.
