I'm not sure how well you can see this, but this raccoon(?) is driving me crazy! He has stolen 2 suets, feeders and all. Another one he managed to steal the suet and left the feeder at the edge of the cornfield. And two of them the suet is gone and the feeder is up out of my reach! He's making me crazy.

ReplyDeleteThey are the second smartest mammal in North America next to the human. I have a momma and three babies in my garden...she raised them in my garden shed. They can be so cute but so much trouble. I don't have any advice except to put away all food and let them go somewhere else to find treats. Whatever you do, NEVER leave food out on purpose for raccoons. I did it for a few weeks and one of the babies almost walked into our house! They have no fear of humans and will actually start looking through your windows if you start feeding them. All the best!
