Wouldn’t you just love to have one of these on every door in your house?! Imagine how costly that would be! Is the devil in the details - even in a church?

Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign MckLinky. Don't forget to visit each other. :)

  2. That's neat. That fellow is guarding a church? He is the tiniest patriot I have ever seen but apparently up to the task!

  8. These are great, but the last one grabs me. Must be the contrast of the metal and the wood. The colors are wonderful. Thank you.

  10. Nothing like old ironwork, is there? I sure saw a lot more of it in Europe than in the US, that's for sure. Italy has some wonderful wrought iron, well preserved like your piece. Yes, want it on my house!

  11. I am glad that it won't fit at all to my house, that safes me a lot of money unless I would unscrew one of the hundreds with treasures overloaded churches here in Belgium ! Beautiful photo !

  18. I don't usually go for really elaborate fittings in my own space, but I really love looking at them in other places!

I see you're test driving a new autolink engine... I'll be interested in hearing how that works out for you.

  22. Beautiful pictures Lisa! Unfortunately we won't be able to make Wisconsin this trip. Due to my husband's illness, we aren't really sure what we are doing at this point. But, Wisconsin had to be cancelled as he really prefers to head home after we stay put here in MN for awhile. Fortunately, his daughter and family live here so he has been able to see them a bit....blurry as they may be at the moment. We are hoping for a little improvement each day, but driving is totally out of the question for right now!
