I don't think we are ever really alone! But what a world this is to surround us with such beauty and cute critters....I am in love with all of these images...what a great story board!
We are never alone. I read once we are never more than 5 feet from a spider, which could be both creepy or comforting, depending on how you feel about spiders.
We were in Yellowstone last June and it is such an amazing place! It was fascinating the way things were constantly skittering about the ground and all the buzzing and flitting going on in the air...like you said, all the while, feeling as if you're completely alone in the middle of nowhere.

I haven't seen chipmunks here in Florida! I'm sure they are around. Yes, way too many of them in Wisconsin!
