Wow, those are gorgeous! My dad used to go on hunting trips every year for elk (blech!) We had something hanging in our garage, I'm not sure if it was an elk or deer head, you'd have to ask my mom.

My goodness, that second image of the elk is absolutely breathtaking! It has all the makings of a masterful painting ... and is glorious in its own right as a photo. Congrats on your successful photo hunt, you've brought back the big one!
