Dark-eyed Juncos are so fun to watch!
She looks so coy! As you can tell I took these in the fall, everything is white now but they still come around.
We have Downy Woodpeckers in the yard daily too, along with their bigger cousins Hairy Woodpeckers. :) I think they're so cute, I keep suet out just for them!

AND.... A SLATE COLORED one at that. Most of them in my area are the regular Oregon junco.
ReplyDeleteBut I had a slate colored one at my feeder this week - and enjoyed its darker richer color.
You're getting to be quite the bird watcher, too!
Looks cute shots...Happy SOOC Sunday.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, Lisa. I'm always amazed at the variety of birds around the country. We don't have Woodpeckers, here.
ReplyDeleteI have these little black and white birds at me feeder and no clue as to what there were, until you just explained it to me, thanks a million!! I love the little guys and girls. Great shots!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful, the third is my favorite. I don't know that I have seen these birds before. My neighbor has some feeders, I will need to watch more closely for them.
ReplyDeleteThe downy woodpeckers are awesome. I had one in my yard the other day but he ran off before I could take his picture.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous little fellas you have here for SOOC
ReplyDeleteThese are delightful. You ALWAYS amaze me.
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet little birds I wish we had a garden where birds came.
